Questions

The things people ask before they trust us with a wedding.

Plain answers. If yours isn't here, message us and a person will reply.

For guests

Do my guests need an app or an account?

No. They scan the QR code on the table card (or open the link) and a web page opens in their phone's browser. They add photos straight from their camera roll or take one on the spot. No download, no sign-up, no login.

What if my guests aren't tech-savvy?

If a phone can open a link, it can use SnapPool. There is one button on the first screen. We build for old Android phones and for iPhones several versions behind, and the page works without a fast connection. A grandparent's phone is the phone we design for.

What if the venue wifi is bad?

The guest page is small and loads on ordinary mobile data. Uploads run in the background while the guest keeps the page open, and retry on their own if the signal drops. Photos already in the pool always stay in the pool.

Can guests see each other's photos?

Yes — that is the point. Everyone at the event can browse the gallery and like photos. You can hide anything you don't want shown, and you can close the gallery to guests whenever you like.

Privacy and control

Is my event private?

Your event is reachable only by its link or QR code, which you hand out. It is never listed anywhere. You can add a password, and you can close photo sharing or the whole gallery at any time from the dashboard.

What does AI Gate actually do?

It screens each upload for nudity, gore and the obviously inappropriate before it appears in the gallery or on the venue screen. Anything flagged waits in your review queue; the guest sees only "under review". It checks content, not people — there is no face recognition and no one is identified.

Can a guest ask for a photo of themselves to be removed?

Yes, from the gallery itself. Opening the photo shows an “I’m in this photo” link, and a request goes straight to you with an email — one tap in your review queue takes it down. They can also email us at hello@snappool.photos with the event name, and we will act on it within 3 business days. We are bound by Singapore's PDPA and we treat uploaded photos as personal data.

Your photos

Can I download the originals?

Yes, any time before the event expires — one photo, a selection, or everything in one download. Nothing is re-encoded or watermarked. Your photos are yours; we hold them, we don't own them.

What happens after my gallery expires?

You choose how long photos stay when you set the event up (1 to 9 months on one-off plans). We email you 30, 7 and 1 days before the date. You can download everything, or extend by 6 months. After expiry the link stops working and the photos move to cold storage for 90 days, where you can reactivate them. After those 90 days they are permanently deleted. What extending and reactivating cost is on the pricing page.

Plans and support

How does the free pool work?

Every account starts with a free pool: 100MB of storage, 10 guests, photos kept 14 days. It is for trying SnapPool at a dinner, not running a wedding on. When the real event comes, upgrade from the dashboard and everything already in the pool stays.

How do I get support?

From a real person, in working hours (GMT+8). Base plans get email answered by the next business day. Pro and Creator plans add WhatsApp or Telegram during working hours. Corporate and Business plans get someone on standby on the event day itself.

How can I pay?

By PayNow or card. Companies can ask for an invoice.
